• Q: I have a license key but it is not working or rejected by the program. What can I do?
  A: From the technical point of view this is nearly impossible. 1) Did you really obtain a key for the right program and the right version? For example, free promotion keys from magazine editions can only be used for the program available on the magazine CD/DVD. 2) To avoid any mistypings please select the key in the registration e-mail, copy it by CTRL+C and paste it with CTRL+V into the key field from the program's registration dialog. Please make sure that no spaces before or after the key are copied too.
  
  
• Q: Why do I have to subscribe to the 1-abc.net newsletter if I want to have a free trial key or a full version key for a magazine edition?
  A: This is the deal you have to agree to by installing, by registering and by confirming your e-mail address.   A: Simply unsubscribe with your old address first. This can easily be done by using the link to unsubscribe at the end of each newsletter issue. Then, register again with your new address by obtaining any key from the 'Register' menu of any 1-abc.net product. • Q: How can I turn off User Account Control (UAC) for Windows Vista und Windows 7?
  A: There are several ways to de-activate this Windows feature, for example from Control Panel by configuring 'User Accounts'. Probably the easiest way is this one: Click on your 'Start' button and enter 'msconfig' into the search control or from the 'Run' item. A screen with many Windows settings is opened then, you only have to click on 'Tools' and highlight 'Disable User Account Control' (Windows Vista) or 'Change UAC Settings' (Windows 7). Just click on 'Launch', after that it is requrired to re-boot your system.
