1. Found in the World Wide Web: A portable football goal

“The problem: to carry a football is easy, but to move a 7.4 x 2.4 meter goal is almost impossible”, says the
Swedish web designer and inventor Carl Hagerling. So he designed a small box with some sensors and whenever the
ball passes the area of that portable goal, you can hear the noise of the audience from an integrated speaker. A
very strange idea, so decide on your own if this will feel the same as shooting a ‘real’ goal.

2. How to change the user’s name on your Windows system

On the day your Windows system was installed, you had to enter a user name that can be seen in many menus and
dialogs as well as in the ‘Start’ menu. Unfortunately, it is not very easy to change this name later.

To configure this, click on ‘Start’-‘Run’ and enter ‘regedit’. The Registry editor will be opened. Now you can
select this Registry key from the left side folder view:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion

On the right side you will see an entry ‘RegisteredOwner’, to change the name you can double-click the entry.
But please be careful, many Registry entries are necessary to keep your system running correctly! So it is
suggested to export your Registry first, this feature can be found in the ‘File’ menu.

An easier way to configure lots of such system settings and to get access to many features that Windows normally
hides away from its users is our brand-new product 1-abc.net Settings Organizer. This product offers you all these
options under a very easy to use interface and backups Registry entries before you do a change so that you can
reverse all system changes you made with this program. You can find out more and download a free 10 day trial
version from here:

3. Revolutionary quotes: Adam Osborne about computers

Adam Osborne was one of the first who published a portable computer in April 1981. He said: “People think
computers will keep them from making mistakes. They’re wrong. With computers you make mistakes faster.”

4. Current news from the 1-abc.net software labs

1-abc.net Utility Box will be updated from a 4-module to a 7-module Windows tuning and optimizing package in
